This is exactly how he wrote it, exactly how he formatted it, exactly him. Bruno is my seven year old brother, and unlike my influences which tend to be literary or musical, his muse is the computer game "Age of Mythology". As I have said before, he is insane.

The Meeting

Chapter One:

What happens when you have a sleep over?

There were seven kids coming over to Bruno*’s house today for a sleep over for ever and the boys were Luke*, James* B, Rory*, James M, Mac*, Khoa* and Asher*. 12:00 Am. Them five were in bed and every one else were in bed too.

Suddenly the 7 boys heard something at the door. Them seven went to see who it was.

Chapter two:

What happens when you like 2 gods but they hate each other?

It was POSIDEN*. “The god of the sea?” asked Bruno “yes I am POSIDEN the god of the seas.” Posiden told the kids. Asher replied “Don’t you mean the… AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ZEUZ*”

It was Zeuz the god of lightning. “Wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww” shouted the boys. Zeuz shot lots of thunder bolts down from the sky and used all of the strings as a guitar* and played AGE OF MYTHOLOGY* music. Posiden asked Zeuz for a battle. Zeuz agreed “to the train” Zeuz replied. And of they went.

Chapter three:

A battle comes

Inside the Train were lots of people with cameras. Every-one gathered in and took pictures. “I’ll get my men, Ancarntos*, Ajax, Agamemnon*, Chiron and Amanra and Osiris.” Zeuz told Posiden and Posiden told Zeuz “I’ll get my men, Gargarensis, Kemsyt, and my Living Posiden statue HhhhhhhhhhhMmmmmmmmmmmmm.” “Oh year, We will get Ancarntos get used by that god power and statues of lightning and AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhh.” screamed Zeuz. know who came out of the bottom of the train when it just moved LOKI. I bet you wanted to know a different god. He was a person with two horns and with gold eyes and darkest colour skin. He shot his horns at both of the teams. But Zeuz put Bronze on his team used earthquake on Posidon’s team and won.

And that's all he wrote, folks. Still...there's sure to be some more in the near future. I don't know if he quite...I think we as a family write the way we do, in that semi-post-modern way, because of our immersion in children's books. In them, the greatest art form, there are often changes in storyteller, tense...ideas are free and abstract, but with humour. They are intricate, passionate, crafted...but fantastically accessible.

And how cute is the way he writes "oh year" for "oh yeah". Perfect phonetics.
